Can Pentecostal and reformed churches ever work together?

I understand that the doctrinal difference is strikingly opposed, but sometimes I just don't understand why they can't. Our evangelical mission is the same, so why not let that be the center of your goal in working together. I get the same old discourse from both sides that pentecostals think reformed doctrine is of the devil because of "once saved always saved" and that reformed christians think pentecostals are uneducated emotionally driven christians. I firmly believe that no doctrine has everything right, and I assume that both the reformed and pentecostal christians will be in heaven someday. So why not work together to do the command that all christian were given, share the gospel.
