How important is it for you to date/marry someone who holds reformed beliefs?
There is a girl I'm currently talking to, long story short we were best friends in high school and then I went off to University (3 year age difference) 5 years later we bumped into each other at a different university campus that I just happened to be studying at. When we were best friends I was the farthest thing from a believer but I happened to go to a Christian high school which taught reformed theology. She has been a believer since high school (grew up in a Christian home)
My only issue now is that I'm aware she goes to a Coptic Orthodox Church. Still trying to learn about their beliefs, but I don't want to overdo it and say "I don't think they're saved" compared to the girls at my church she definitely isn't on fire for the Lord the way some women at my church are.. But I do believe she is saved. We're not dating but I guess I'm asking that Lord Willing if we do date would it be wise to ask her to visit my church?
My church promotes small groups, discipleship relationships, getting discipled and making disciples. What type of questions should I ask her about her church without her feeling like I'm trying to attack her church or make mine seem better?
Furthermore, is it a deal breaker if you find a girl from a different denomination who doesn't hold to reformed beliefs? Would you date an arminian? She is definitely not arminian LOL. Just making up hypotheticals.
