Tired of discerning the truth; I just want to die

Some Catholics tell me I'm going to eternal hell if I don't come back to Catholicism, Eastern Orthodox claim their church is the ark of salvation, and many Reformed teach converting to Cathodoxy is apostasy because Cathodox teach faith+works justification.

I've been studying the Scriptures and history constantly for the last five years, and I've found there are so many interpretations with their own strengths and weaknesses. Which view is most consistent is not clear to me.

I'm so tired of worrying about burning in hell forever, I just want to kill myself and be done with the struggle. If I go to hell, I probably would have ended up there anyway because I don't feel guilty when I sin.

I know I am guilty and Christ is my only hope, but I don't feel conviction of sin and genuine repentance so I'm probably hellbound.

To God be the glory.

Assurance and eternal hell

Whenever someone posts about assurance, there are typically two responses, or a mixture of both. "Don't look to yourself but to Christ" and "Judge yourself based on 1 John".

How do I know if I love God as much as a regenerate person would? When I look to myself, I see faith in the promises of Christ but also a lack of love for God. I love God some, but not as much as I would like to. Maybe my love is out of legal fear. I can't stop worrying about being cast into hell forever, the thought of it is dreadful. I was admitted to an inpatient ward for a week because of it (and mental illness, I guess). Even when I'm 95% sure I'm truly a believer, the chance that I might a false professor causes me great anxiety and I cry out to God again and again, "God, have mercy on me, a sinner. I have no hope but Christ."

How is Federal Headship fair?

How is it fair that people are born doomed from the womb for their father's transgression?

Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
