Talking to a JW at work and thought of this point in regards to creation and time.

I have started talking to a JW at work the last few weeks, discussing our differences, trying to straighten up his misconceptions of the trinity. Then I started thinking about his rebuttal to John 1:3, in which he believes everything apart from Jesus/Michael was created by him. I tried to push on the strong language and the re-affirmation of "nothing" being created without Him, but I just thought of another point. This is what i sent him:

I just had a thought about your views on Jesus being the creator after being the first created. Did God create Jesus/Michael before anything else? Or was it after He created space and time etc.? The way I see it, if He created him after space and time, then the verse in the bible saying “everything created was created by him” is misleading, or alternatively if you say he created him before space and time were created, then I believe that is an impossibility. For a created being to come into existence, there has to be the establishment of time, otherwise the being is eternal. To exist outside of time is to be eternal, I don’t think a being can exist for a period of time in eternity prior to time existing.

What do you think? is it a solid point or am I missing something that could undermind it?
